Board of Directors

Castleisland Day Care Centre is a company limited by guarantee and has a total of fourteen directors. These directors come from the catchment areas which we serve with representatives from Brosna, Scartaglen, Knocknagoshel, Currow, Cordal, Ballymacelligott and Castleisland. The Board of Directors meet every six weeks to deal with any issues which arise and are given a full report on the centres activities by the nurse manager.

A community worker from the H.S.E. supports the board of directors by attending the meetings offering any advice needed.
As well as regular board meetings Castleisland Day Care Centre also has a financial committee which meets monthly and oversees all spending and budgetary issues.
A.G.M. of Castleisland Day Care Centre is usually held in May with our accountant in attendance to present the company’s financial accounts.

Financial Committee

Finance committee meets every month and oversees all spending and budgetary issues.

Clinical Governance Committee

The clinical governance committee supports Castleisland Day Care Centre Board of Directors in ensuring that the organisation is accountable for continuously improving quality of its service and safeguarding high standards of care. It allows Castleisland Day Care Centre to monitor all aspects of the service on a continuous basis and identify areas for improvement

Clients Advisory Group

Each client has the right to consultation and participation in Castleisland Day Care Centre. Feedback is actively sought on an ongoing basis for services provided.
